The Graduate Program in the School of Film, Media, and Theatre offers students a multi-disciplinary curriculum designed to prepare students for media-making, research, and teaching in film and media production and/or moving image studies. The doctoral program in Moving Image Studies draws theoretical perspectives from film, television, new media and performance studies. It prepares students to investigate how moving images are constructed, how they are perceived, and how they impact culture.
The doctoral program in Communication includes a weekly meeting of FLME 8111: Introduction to Graduate Studies, which meets Wednesdays 12pm-12:55pm in Conference Room 1047. This meeting is open to all students and faculty. Consult this semester’s schedule here.
